At Gourley Veterinary Surgeons we are incredibly proud of everyone that attends our charity fundraising events. From July 2019 to October 2019 we have raised over £2000 for a range of charities!
In July several team members raised £1,300 for cancer research by participating in The Race for Life, Manchester. The money raised was donated to Cancer Research UK and The Christie Hospital in Manchester.
We held a charity fun day to raise money for our chosen charity, Street Vet. We had a fabulous, fun filled day with our crowd building Dalmatian mascot, music, bicycle challenge (guess the time to cycle 10 miles with TV vet Gavin) and a huge range of other activities. On the run up to our fun day on and donations on the day we raised £685.76.
Towards the end of September, we took part in the MacMillan coffee morning. Staff and clients baked and faked. Lots of cake was consumed by all! We raised £227 for MacMillan cancer research.
We would like to take the time to thank everyone involved in all these days. From staff to clients, we’ve really helped make a difference with this money and are thankful for your continued support.
We hope to see you at our future events!
